Stereolithography

Fine detail, ready for finishing.

A laser traces each layer in liquid resin, curing the model one section at a time. A useful starting point for intricate shapes and appearance-focused pieces.

FROM PRINT TO FINISHED PIECE

SLA printing.
Finishing by hand.

A detailed architectural model moves from digital part separation to SLA printing, support removal and cleaning.

The parts are prepared for wiring, assembled, painted and detailed. Lighting brings the completed model to life.

SURFACE PREPARATION

A considered finish
starts with preparation.

Support removal, cleaning and surface preparation make the printed part ready for its next stage. The sequence depends on the process, material and required appearance.

  • Support removal or powder cleaning
  • Resin post-curing where required
  • Surface preparation before primer and paint

Finishes are selected for the material and intended use. Color, texture and gloss can be agreed through a finish sample before production.
